2015-2019 Circle, Airport Zürich, Switzerland
Martin Dobler Projektmanagement GmbH played a crucial role in “The Circle” project at Zurich Airport, under the leadership of Ing. Bmst. Martin Dobler. Serving as a specialist construction manager, Dobler brought in his specialized knowledge in precast concrete construction and was responsible for the planning, tendering, and supervision of the precast concrete works for the Convention Hall. His expertise was particularly sought after in the design of the construction and the determination of the construction sequence.
The greatest challenge was to develop a construction sequence and method that would allow for the most efficient assembly of the precast concrete elements while meeting the project’s high-quality requirements and keeping costs as low as possible. It was necessary to find a balance between technical feasibility, aesthetic excellence, and economic efficiency to ensure an optimal solution for the complex requirements of the project.
